The Project is part of the Major Project Infrastructure Expansion Plan Qatar built to serve the 2022 World Cup, the Major Road Project was the “Orbital Highway” for a length of more than 200 KM, for 8 lanes and 2-way road. The Whole Project was divided into 4 Packages. Daewoo E&C got awarded the Package #4 for a stretch of 52 KM, for 3.5 billion Qatar Rials, out of the 200 KM Highway. New Horizon was appointed by Daewoo E&C as their Main Subcontractor to execute part of their works.
The Project consists of:
- 52,000 Linear Meters of Roads.
- 8,401 Linear Meters of Drainage Works.
- 25,000 of Landscaping.
- 48,000 Square Meters of Footpaths and Cycle Tracks.
